So, I'm sad to say that a fire is once again messing up my home town. And, apparently, it's worse then the Cedar Fire of 2003. Which, is no good whatsoever. I remember that fire, and that was some scary days and nights. A plane crashed on the freeway behind my house, I was evacuated, and for weeks we all wore bandannas over our faces like bank robbers, so the ash wouldn't kill our lungs. Now here it is back again. Well, what we can learn from last time, I guess, is that we should all evacuate when they tell us to evacuate, and to always bring our pets with us at all times. You don't want to head over to the store, and return to find that your street has been evacuated and you're no longer able to return to your house. We heard way too many of those sad stories last time.
I hope the winds die down, and the firefighters are able to put some hurt on this fire. I'll be thinking of my friends and family today, hoping that they stay safe as well as their property. I'll leave you today with one final question.... whatever happened to the goat idea? I thought that goats were going to solve the fire problem?
Stay safe!
