a turn for the better

So, things are looking up for Alex and I in the our quest for a kick ass apartment. I just dropped off the application fee for the fabulously close to school, yet cheap apartments. And the lady said once we're approved we can have our pick of the available units, and set up a move in date. We're not only not going to have a roommate, but we're also going to have space and room so we don't kill one another! Yah! It's all very exciting. I'll make sure to post when we find out if we got the place or not.

In other news, my acting class is going well, strange, but well. We had to observe animals over the past week, and today we performed them in class. I had observed a pigeon missing one of his feet, which I named Stub. At the start of class we were 100% animal, and as we progressed we became more and more human, finally standing up, speaking, and doing improvs with other animal-humans. For next week, we develop these crazy characters further and prepare a scene for class. I am so out of my element, but I'm enjoying this look at the other side of things.
