busy busy bee

Man have I had a busy weekend. On Friday, a dear friend of mine, Nikki was up here in SF, showing the city off to her friend and her friend's daughter. Alex and I took them over to china town, for a memorable dinner at the infamous Sam Wo's. For those of you who haven't been to Sam Wo's, you have no idea what you're missing. In the midst of huge, flashy restaurants in China Town, there's this little faded sign leading you into a small door to none others then Sam Wo's. You enter through their kitchen, and climb up stairs. A waitress barks at you to sit down and throws menus, and chopsticks in your general direction. She may or may not be back to take your order. If you're a fan of great, ridiculously cheap Chinese food, and very grumpy old Chinese waitresses, Sam Wo's is for you! It's on Washington and Grant, and I recommend it highly. It's always a laugh.

Then Saturday ran by filled with lots and lots of work, and more work. Thankfully, I had Sunday to blow off steam before school today. I went out to brunch with my friends in the east bay, had some great challa french toast at, Fellini's in Berkeley. Then, I got my hair dyed! Who wouldn't like that? Danielle, a good friend of mine, did a great job dying my reddish hair, unmistakably red. I like it.

Then, we got a surprise from one of our good friends from Utah, John! He and a co-worker of his were in town, and they took us out to dinner Sunday night, which sadly for me this morning, was a late night. But hey, in the moment it was great. Now, I've just got to stay awake for my last class so I can drag myself home, and all will be right with the world. Oh, and there's a chance that Alex and I will be moving very soon. I can't say anything else, I'll fill you in once we find out for sure. All right, that's all. Now, I have to get back to homework!
