Some crazy gypsy punk band opened for them. They had two really old men in their band, one looked like a biker who played the fiddle, and the other an aging polka man on the accordion. In addition the had two hot barely dressed girls dancing around the stage, one with cymbals and the other with a bass drum. The lead singer was a skinny even less dressed skinny dude who liked very much to jump and through things. They were funny, I have to say it, but not quiet musically talented.
After that we got less then 10 minutes of some random comedian whose name escapes me. He was pretty funny, but quick and gone before he got used to him being there.
Then Tegan and Sara came on. I've listened to one of their CD's and I liked it, but their laid back soft style of music didn't transpose very well into the loud and crazy huge concert hall that is the Warfield in downtown San Francisco.
Cake kicked some major ass, and my love for them has been completely cemented. I got a great t-shirt and had a blast! I highly recommend seeing them in concert if you ever have a chance!
