Last night, Alex and I saw Michel Gondry's first film that he'd both written and directed called, "The Science of Sleep," (click for details). The composer of the film, who introduced it last night, dubbed it Michel's baby, and after a few minutes of watching it, you realize why.
It's quiet amazing, weaving dreams and reality like a quilt. It's funny, and beautiful (extremely beautiful), and a must see! I don't know when it's coming out, but it certainly will.
Gael Garcia Bernal from, "The Motorcycle Diaries," plays the lead in the film, and he is fabulous. All the acting in the movie is fabulous. The entire movie, in fact is fabulous. Go and see it the second it comes out!
Tonight, Alex and will be seeing, "Half Nelson" directed by Ryan Fleck. Very exciting!
