like art?

It's been a long time.....I know, I've neglected my 3 readers. But, I think I might be back for a while this time. I've done some soul searching, and I've decided to why not give this another shot.

Today, I'd like to share about the pains of being an art lover, and having no money to support your love, and something that might ease the pain. I really enjoy art. And, I've come to the sad realization, that like food, I like really expensive art. I guess I was just born with the tastes of a rich lady, but with the money....wait...I wasn't born with any money at all....right. So, I go to art galleries, as there are many in the great city of San Francisco, where I live....and have to look sadly on while beautiful pieces of wonder go home to everyone else's home but mine. It doesn't help that my husband shares this plague. We both have a soft spot for art. When I lived in San Diego, this craving was satisfied more often....I had the blessing of having my two closest friends also be incredibly, unbelievably, talented artists. I often received art as presents, or just for the hell of it. All was good. But, now that I live so far away...all has changed.

Every now and then, Alex and I splurge and buy something, but it's often deeply felt in our pockets to an unhappy degree. However, as luck would have it, I'm married to something of a internet genius, and he has found a solution to our ailment.....tinyshowcase.com. It's this awesome site, where you can buy amazing (numbered!) prints, for a fraction of what they should cost. Every Tuesday, they release a new one, they're usually sold out by the end of the day though. So, if you're an art lover like me, and poor like me, check it out....especially if you like the wacky art. Man, I love me some wacky art.
