a wedding and sleep deprivation

I left last Thursday for sunny San Diego, my home town, for my sister, Anna's wedding. I left EARLY in the morning, and ran wedding errands with the bride. We bought flowers, dropped off flowers, bought treats, dropped off dresses, and most importantly drove up to Laguna Beach (an awesome town north of SD), the place the wedding was taking place. And, it all turned out to be a lot of fun! Anna helped me out a TON with my wedding, and it was nice to repay the favor, and it was really nice to do wedding stuff for a wedding that you weren't the bride in!

I found it funny how my sister and I both worried about totally different things before our weddings. Anna, who was until Saturday afternoon Anna Hopkins, wigged out about becoming Anna Gamboa. And, luckily for her that seemed to be the most of her woes. Like Alex and I, David (my new brother in-law), and Anna are laid back people, so there wasn't any unnecessary wedding stress. And, unlike me Anna is incredibly organized, so she had everything set and ready to go months in advance.

It was beautiful, and fun, and I highly recommend getting married in Laguna Beach! Congrats to the wonderful couple, and welcome David, you picked a fun family to join! I love you both!

On another note now I'm tired! I can't seem to catch up with sleep! You see, I have a very fun, cool family, and I haven't seen them for months, and so both Alex and I slept very little this past weekend. Out late talking, and up early doing stuff. It was definitely worth it, I just wish I could shake off the sleepiness.
