recommendations

I'm about half way through this book, called A Short History of a Small Place. It's by T. R. Pearson, and it's hilarious! It comes very highly recommended, so you should check it out! It's about a very small town in North Carolina, and the people there. And, there's a monkey in it. How can you not like a book that involves a monkey? Exactly, you can't.

So, the sun came out today. Alex and I took the bus down to the Ferry Building, and bought a pound of some amazing trail mix, and had brunch. There's this deli type place that has a bunch of lunch specials. I went there and had some awesome roasted chicken and roasted veggies. Alex got a ham and cheese turnover, and an apple turnover from the bakery next door. They were also awesome. I got to sample them. The sun is out for a change, so we had a nice little walk around for a bit.

I'm listening to a fun new album by, Death Cab for Cutie, is you're a fan of the band, you should check out their new album, it's very good. And, if you've never heard of Death Cab for Cutie, check them out anyway, they're fun.

My cats are bitter and angry right now because I gave them baths today. Lots of fun. Apparently, cats aren't fans of getting wet. Who knew...
